Coca-Cola is a very strange drink. It is the only drink I have come across which as so many different tastes when served in different ways. Most people just say I’m stupid when I talk to them about this, but I know the different tastes, and they are just ignorant (yes that is you Peter).
First of all, coke is best from the tap in a pub with no ice and no lemon, and then it is out of a two litre bottle into a tumbler, then out of a two litre bottle into a tall glass. It is at its worst out of a can and a 500ml bottle, the only flavours nice out of a 500ml bottle are cherry coke and coke with lime. Well, that is just the tip of the iceberg of different coke tastes.
I may have already mentioned in a previous article that I used to be quite the heavy drinker of coke, I used to have a can at school and a pint when I got home on weekdays, then over the weekend I generally went through 3 2 litter bottles. But now I have cut down a lot, I still have my can at school but no pint when I get home, and I get through about 2 2 litre bottle now. Doesn’t sound like much, but I don’t feel like I am drinking too much anymore, and it isn’t a bad addiction to have anyway.
