How I enjoy jelly. I was right in the mood for some jelly today, so I made some and it is still setting now, I also added some strawberries cut up to give it a bit more substance. After I have finished writing this post I will go check on it. But while making this jelly I thought to myself “how do the people make the jelly cubes to make the jelly with?” I have maths revision to do today so I don’t have time to read up on jelly making, but I will probably look into it tomorrow. But I wonder what weird flavours of jelly you could make with organic materials, like avocado jelly or something like that, I don’t know. Searching for jelly pictures I found some stuff on grass jelly, I suppose I would quite like to try that, but that is for another time.

February must be the month of fruit for me because this apple I had today was pretty decent. It was not perfectly spherical but it certainly felt nice in my hand, it was very small and very crunchy. There is not much to say about it really, I would not have blogged about it if I had not recently talked about my perfect orange. But it was the best apple I have had in my memory, it was very crunchy indeed.
You know when you are eating a regular big apple and you bite a chunk out? When you sink your teeth in then pull the apple away from your head, the chunk of apple is ripped out of the whole apple and leaves a smooth shape. Well with this apple it was so crunchy that any chunk of apple taken from the whole apple has to be 100% bitten off, no ripping would happen. So it was a chore to eat it, but the sweet taste was definitely worth it. I don’t see many small apples around, I think I would actually prefer smaller apples, but I have never seen one this small before.
