Walking home with Jac today, realising how far it really is between school and Clitheroe when I saw this cool frog thing in a window. I stopped to take a picture, once I has my camera out and pointing I realised there was an old lady in the window. so I was like “do I take the picture or not? My camera is already out, I would look weirder if in didn’t take the picture” so I took the picture. and it was worth it!
Look how weird it is! its feet chest and head size remind me of the sphinx, and if it was a bit longer it would be some sort of froggy sphinx thing.

As you may know I am growing a little patch of cress and mustard to munch on every so often. The other day I cut half away to both see if the severed ends would repair themselves, and also because I wanted to taste my produce.
The same night I went to check up on them and I was happy to see little water droplets on the end of the headless plants. I smiled because it showed me that water really does get moved up to the leaves of the plant for efficient photosynthesis to occur, obviously the water was just travelling out of the plant which I don’t think is the best idea for it, but I like seeing things work.
Something even more impressive would be if the plants healed themselves fully, but I don’t see that happening for a while, I will let you know how that goes. When I have all of my GCSEs out of the way I will start growing some more cress and mustard and take daily growth pictures for both mine and you amusement (mostly mine)

the sunny times are approaching so I have told my mum to buy me some sun Lollys and some mini milks (thank you peter for getting me back onto mini milks). but I was in tesco today and instead of seeing sun Lollys, I see nothing but Jubbly. Have Sun Lollys been re branded, or do they have a new rival. either way, I want some original sun Lollys and I also need to get some original Tizer!
The new tizer is revolting, tizer was up there with iron-bru and coke, it tasted of itself, but now its fruity. Why do products do this to themselves?

As you may know I have given my iPod Mini and my iPod dock to my grandma. she wanted a PMP and my mum bought her the worst I have ever seen, so I gave my grandma my Mini and my dock, half to be nice and half for personal gain. I didn’t want her to put up with the rubbish my Mum bought her, but also I would get a new dock out of it.
so I set myself the £30 limit I put on most general purchases. so I went onto the apple site and picked this out, great reviews all round, one of the few 5 Star products out there. so I went on eBay and picked one up for £35 +p&p, and it truly is 5 Stars.
Comes with remote controlling everything a regular iPod can do, it has flawless, huge sound. Powered by a.ac or batteries, audio in and out, a USB connection will let you sync your iPod while it is docked and it even comes with a handy travel pouch. Really I cannot flaw it for use with an iPod.
but sadly, I have an iPod Touch, and iPod Touch has docking issues. While my iPod is docked the speakers emit a quiet but annoying sound, I tired it with my brother’s Nano (my old Nano) and there were no problems at If that is not strange enough, the strange sounds are only heard when the dock is plugged in, when it is running from batteries there are no issues. And the final problem is that I cannot sync with the dock with my touch, but my brother’s Nano will sync through it. this is not a problem with the dock, but a problem that comes with the iPod Touch.
but I cannot be too bothered about it, it is actually a beast of a dock which has no problems at all, I only hope the iPod touch docking issue will be resolved in a future firmware update.

I don’t know if you have seen these pocket gardens floating about, I think they are a really good idea. you can get them as a new age card “Happy birthday! Now grow these plants!” and they sell them just selling specific plats. they were going for £4.99 but they are clearing at my local florist at 50p, so I got myself some cress and mustard because I have been after growing cress for ages.
So I got growing straight away and I have to say, cress and mustard grows fast!. I have an unopened bag so I will take daily pictures to show how fast, but at the moment all I can say is that it grows fast. Not only does it grow fast, it tastes good as well, there is spice and cool, it is a taste explosion.
but yes, it is good to grow things you are going to eat, I am a fan of eating grass, but cress and mustard is easer and nicer to eat, try all three and be surprised!

You can buy the disc from the site, but you can also apply for a free disc that will take a few weeks to be delivered, I pre ordered it so I cannot say how long it took to arrive because I do not know when they were available, and also I cannot remember when I applied. but what I can say is that I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived.
another pleasant surprise was that it came with stickers! I really like it when things come with stickers and I wish more things did, and companies should start giving out badges with their things, I want badges themed along what I purchase. (does anybody want to give me a sticker?)

How hard did this have to be? My laptop was running slow so I wanted to clean it to get it running back at how it should. for reasons unknown my laptop did not want to burn backup discs, so thankfully Gary lent me his iPod for my to backup. but once I had things backed up I thought I could just find something in vista like “Restore to Factory Settings”, but no luck.
So I dug out the vista disc that came with my laptop and re-installed vista, which meant that I lost all the Acer software that came with my laptop, but I am not TOO bothered about it.
but yes, now it is clean of malware and running like a black, but it was way harder than it should have been, I need an external hard drive for backing up. but I am a bit low on cash at the moment, ho well.

Birds these days, what’s wrong with them? I remember a day when nobody had chance to kick or punch a pigeon because they knew to be scared, but these days they have become trusting and I got close enough to take this picture without using zoom. Last year I had a perfect chance to kick a blackbird, I often see pigeons being nearly ran over, birds have really just become stupid.
That bad picture of the duck was taken outside an ice-cream shop where there was loads of ducks, they trusted humans too much aswell. I was trying to act like a duck (yes I am a retard) to try and stoke one, but they outsmarted me (again, retard). Bust yes, the point is that birds are stupid these days and we need to bring back the fear.

Well, my Grandma and Grandad are over from Cyprus to celebrate their 50th anniversary. They normally come over at Christmas and I give them my room because it has a better bed and storage. Christmas last year the ariel in here was a bit wrong so I didn’t bother bringing my TV in, but now it is ok so I did some experimenting.
So I have a bit of a dual monitor thing going here which I really love, it is more desctopy than in my other room which is good and bad. It is good because it is more like hands on, but it is too far from my bed to be used in bed. I am contemplating keeping this setup, obviously cleaning it up a bit because it is a mess of wires at the moment. There would be no question whether or not I should keep it if I could use it in bed, but I can’t, so it is a hard decision to make.
Its good because it is more or less like two computers, I can have media centre filling the whole 19″ and have Firefox open on the laptop, it is actually really great. It has urged me even further to want a desktop with 3 monitors, it will be a great.
But yes, if anybody has any ideas how I can have this setup but nearer my bed please tell me, it is a hard decision for me to make.
